Can I use an Allpoint ATM branded by another financial institution?

Yes! If your institution participates in Allpoint Network, ATMs you find in our Allpoint locator are guaranteed surcharge-free regardless of location branding.

Your web site listed a certain ATM as part of your network, but when I went to use the ATM, the Allpoint logo was not on the machine. Is this ATM still surcharge-free?

Yes. All ATMs listed on are surcharge-free, even if the Allpoint logo is not on the ATM. It may take 4–6 weeks to get our logo added to new ATMs.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience. Please contact your card provider and ask to start an ATM EFT Dispute. They will take over then and get your straightened out.

Can you please tell me the maximum withdrawal amount from the ATM?

Each ATM has a different per-transaction withdrawal amount limit. Allpoint does not limit the number of transactions that can be done a day. Your card provider does have a daily ATM withdrawal amount limit. Please contact them to learn more.

You keep saying surcharge-free. What is a surcharge fee?

A surcharge is a fee the owner of the ATM machine charges any cardholder not part of their network. It’s a fee you pay to use someone else’s ATM. Surcharges are typically between $1.50 and $3.00.

OK, but what’s a transaction fee and how’s it different?

Good question, a transaction fee is from your card provider. Your card provider may charge you for every ATM transaction over the limit they have set per month. You need to call the toll-free number on the back of your card to find out if they have set a limit and what it is.

Help! I was surcharged at an Allpoint ATM.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience. Please call your card provider using the toll free number on the back of your card for reimbursement.

What should I do if the Allpoint ATM asks that I accept the surcharge?

The ATM does not know your card participates in Allpoint until the transaction is completed. This is why you see the “surcharge-screen”. As long as you are using your Allpoint card, and the ATM shows up on our network you will not be charged. Simply press “Accept” and complete your transaction.

Can I still use ATMs that are not part of Allpoint?

Yes. Your ATM card will continue to work at ATMs that are not included in the Allpoint network. However, you will be assessed a surcharge fee at the large majority of ATMs that are outside the Allpoint network.
