RALEIGH, N.C. (September 4, 2007) -- Coastal Federal Credit Union has joined the Allpoint Network, increasing the credit union's members' access to surcharge-free ATMs by more than 560 machines in North Carolina and 35,000 nationwide.

"The addition of the Allpoint network to our existing array of surcharge–free ATMs gives our members access to more surcharge-free ATMs than any other financial institution in North Carolina," said Larry Wilson, Coastal's president and CEO. "It's simply a great way for us to provide a valuable service for our members in a manner that's convenient to them."

Located in major retail outlets, gas stations and convenience stores coast to coast, Allpoint ATMs will provide members with greater access, convenience, and savings. By adding the Allpoint Network ATMs to the existing CO-OP Network and CashPoints ATMs that they can already access for free, Coastal members can now enjoy the use of nearly 58,000 ATMs – 1 out of 6 nationwide - without having to pay a fee.
