ST. PETERSBURG – Florida
BB&T today announced a new ATM strategy to give its Florida clients broader access to their cash and more free foreign ATM transactions.
The plan includes BB&T's recent decision to join Allpoint Network, which means BB&T's Florida clients will have access to more than 2,550 surcharge-free ATMs in the Sunshine State and 35,000 nationwide. BB&T currently operates 117 ATMs in Florida.
"By partnering with Allpoint, BB&T can provide our Florida clients with expanded access to their BB&T accounts through a large network of surcharge-free ATMs," said Scott Qualls, Deposit Access Products manager. "We are pleased to offer our clients even more convenient cash access options near where they live, work and travel."
BB&T's Florida ATM plan also includes at least two—and as many as eight—free foreign ATM transactions per statement cycle, depending on the type of account the client has.
Allpoint, a division of Cardtronics, is America's largest surcharge-free ATM network, with 35,000 ATMs in leading national and regional merchant locations across the country. For more information or to find the nearest Allpoint surcharge-free ATM, visit www.AllpointNetwork.com.
