General

Q: What is the Allpoint™ Network?
A: Allpoint is a national network of 37,000 ATMs through which customers of financial institutions participating in Allpoint can get surcharge-free access to their accounts.

Q: What is an ATM surcharge fee?
A: Commonly referred to as a surcharge (also known as a convenience fee), this is the fee the owner of the ATM machine assesses to all "foreign" cardholders (i.e., someone that is not a customer of the institution owning the ATM). Surcharges at most ATMs are typically between $1.50 and $2.50.

Q: How can I sign up for Allpoint?
A: Access to Allpoint's national surcharge-free ATM is available to the customers of financial institutions that have signed up with Allpoint. At this point in time, individual consumers cannot sign up for Allpoint -- your institution must do this.

If your financial institution is not currently a member of Allpoint, please let them know that you would like access to our network of 37,000 surcharge-free ATMs. If you are not sure if your financial institution is a member of Allpoint, please contact us at 800-809-0308 or MoreInfo@AllpointNetwork.com and we'll be happy to tell you.

Q: I just received a notice from my financial institution that I now have access to Allpoint. How do I enroll? What are the fees?
A: There are no fees assessed by Allpoint to the customers of participating financial institutions and enrollment in Allpoint is automatic.

Q: Where are Allpoint ATMs located?
A: Allpoint's 37,000 surcharge-free ATMs are located across the country in local, regional, and national retail merchants. This includes merchants such as Target, Winn-Dixie, ExxonMobil, Rite Aid, Sunoco and many others. Use the ATM locator at www.AllpointNetwork.com to find the Allpoint ATM closest to you.

ATM Usage

Q: I used an Allpoint ATM and the "surcharge message" screen said I would be assessed a surcharge for the transaction I was attempting. Will I be charged? Why does this happen?
A: No. Due to the technical limitations of certain types of ATM machines, we are not able to prevent the "surcharge message" screen from appearing on many Allpoint ATMs.

You should continue the transaction by answering "yes" on this screen. When you get your receipt, you'll see that you were not assessed a surcharge (i.e., the withdrawal amount on your receipt will show $20, $40, $60, etc., as opposed to $21.50, $41.50, $61.50, etc. shown when you pay a surcharge).

Q: I used an Allpoint ATM and was incorrectly surcharged. How can I get a refund for the fees assessed?
A: Click here to get additional information on how to submit a refund request via our web site.

Q: Your web site listed a certain ATM as part of your network, but when I went to use the ATM, the Allpoint logo was not on the machine. Is this ATM still surcharge-free?
A: Yes. All ATMs listed on www.AllpointNetwork.com are surcharge-free, even if the Allpoint logo is not on the ATM. We are constantly adding new ATMs to the Network and it may take 4-6 weeks to get our logo added onto these ATMs.

Q: Are there any limitations to how many times I can use an Allpoint ATM?
A: No. Customers of participating financial institutions get an unlimited number of surcharge-free transactions at Allpoint ATMs.

Q: Can I still use ATMs that are not part of Allpoint?
A: Yes. Your ATM card will continue to work at ATMs that are not included in the Allpoint network. However, you will be assessed a surcharge fee at the large majority of ATMs that are outside the Allpoint network.

ATM Locator

Q: How does your ATM locator work?
A: It's easy! Simply type in your zip code or city/state and the locator will list the address of all Allpoint ATMs within 10 miles of the desired location (up to a maximum of 30 locations).

Q: How often is the location data on your web site updated?
A: The ATM data used in the Allpoint locator is updated every two weeks to reflect any changes to our network locations.
