Sales Executive
Job Description
This position is responsible for new account acquisition. It requires the ability to: work independently, prospect for appointments, determine prospects needs, give product presentations, negotiate terms, overcome objections and close sales.
Responsibilities
- New account acquisition: prospecting and cold calling, outside sales, client presentations and proposals, negotiate terms, and attend trade-shows/conferences
- Submit monthly sales activity reports to President and meet with senior management regarding clients in pre-sales, contract negotiation, and post sales
Requirements
- 3-6 years of proven sales experience, preferably selling to financial institutions
- Be accomplished at calling on all levels of an organization, including cold calling and networking, and selling to high-level decision makers and committees
- You must have strong negotiating and closing skills, be highly motivated, good at building relationships, have keen listening skills, ask good questions and be assertive.
- Excellent communication, and presentation skills
- Reliable, motivated self-starter, outgoing, problem solver, and customer service and goal oriented
- General understanding of EFT processing systems and product applications, and general operational guidelines and rules is a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel nationwide
- Bachelor's degree and experience using ACT! preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation package consists of an aggressive base salary and commission yielding potential annual earnings of 100K+. Company benefits include; health, dental and vision plan, vacation and sick time, parking and many other perks.
